Complete axle differential recondition and overhaul of various models

Common issues that may require repair include bent or broken axles, worn bearings, and seal leaks.

To repair a transit bus axle, a mechanic will first diagnose the problem by inspecting the axle and any associated components. If the issue is a bent or broken axle, the damaged portion will need to be removed and replaced with a new one. Worn bearings will also be replaced, and any leaks in the seals will be repaired.

In some cases, the entire axle assembly may need to be removed and replaced. This is a complex process that requires the bus to be lifted and supported while the old assembly is removed and the new one is installed.

It's important to note that the repair of a transit bus axle will depend on the specific issue and the age/condition of the bus. Regular maintenance and inspection of the axles is crucial to ensure that any problems are identified and addressed early on, before they become more serious and costly to repair.
